A tour not to be missed:

From San Vigilio di Marebbe you cross Furcia Pass (1,737 metres a.s.l.) to Valdaora, then you take the SS49 in the Puster Valley as far as San Candido where you take the SS52 to your right to the Sesto Valley. After passing Monte Croce Pass at Comelico (1,638 metres a.s.l) and entering Comelico Valley, continue to Padola where you can admire numerous buildings in a rustic style typical of the area. Continue the tour along the SS52 as far as Sant'Antonio Pass in the direction of Dosoledo and San Nicolò. From here continue along a road that has a lot of twists and turns as far as Santa Caterina and then to the right towards Auronzo di Cadore along the SS48. A few kilometres after Auronzo, the second part of the journey begins. From here you cross Tre Croci Pass (1,809 metres a.s.l.) and arrive at Cortina d'Ampezzo, where the Winter Olympics were held in 1956 and where it's worthwhile undertaking a stopover to admire the splendid valley basin. In the saddle again, go to Falzarego Pass (2,105 metres a.s.l), then turn right towards Valparola Pass and admire the astonishing views of the Sella and Marmolada mountains and of the Agordina valley basin. From here you continue along Val Badia as far as Longega and then on to San Vigilio di Marebbe.
